Yet another section of the National Speedway Museum web site that will be reliant on the input of information and images from the members and visitors, please feel free to comment, correct or contribute by contacting me -CLICK HERE
Some of the equipment can be seen at the Museum but most is in private hands or lost in sheds and barns so any information or images you may have will help preserve the knowledge of this equipment for the future.
Machinery is listed alphabetically so either click on the required key below or start with any letter and browse at will. It includes the well known, the obscure and the individual efforts & the aberrations of speedway riders.
I am grateful to Tony Webb of Binbooks, who’s book A - Z Speedway Bikes gave me much, but not all, of the information used here and would advise those interested in the speedway hardware to purchasing a copy for themselves, and Terry & Jean Stone for all the help they have given me in compiling this.
